 what services do you offer? Do you do make up?
On location hair services for weddings, special events and editorials. unfortunately I do not provide make up services but I am happy to recommend some talented artists.
 
where are you located?  
I am currently located in the Charleston SC area and travel all over for my brides and editorials. Travel and lodging fees may apply. Please contact me for a custom quote.
 
 If you are a destination stylist, how can we schedule a trial?
If we are on location or you are just in town for the wedding weekend I recommend we do a mock hair trial the day before your wedding and then we do a quick switch to a rehearsal dinner/welcome party hair style!

Can i schedule a hair trial before i sign a contract?
i do not hold dates or schedule trials until after the deposit is received and contract is signed. i receive multiple inquiries for the same dates and it would not be fair to those other brides. 

how should we have our hair prepped?
Please wash and blow-dry your hair with a paddle or round brush the night before. if your hair holds or behaves better when it is freshly washed then go ahead and wash your hair the morning of the wedding. just make sure your hair is completely dry before you arrive to the getting ready location. no wet or damp hair.

I have a large bridal party, do you bring assistants?
Yes, not a problem! If the bridal party is larger than 7 or there is a small window of getting ready time, I will bring an assistant. Additional fees apply for my assistants.
 
What if my final headcount changes (+1,-1)?
I totally get it.  It is not often that you know exactly who will want hair services when you book your vendors. I work with my brides as best i can to accommodate changes but minimums and contracts are set in place for a reason. if one bridesmaid can not make the wedding then i will not hold you to pay for that service. Say 3 people back out for some reason, then yes, you would be responsible for keeping to the contract quote and paying for those services. 
If last minute you need to add services I will try my best to accommodate. usually one or two services is fine, however, if it is within 2 months of your wedding date then I am not responsible for those additional services. you would need to make other arrangements and hire a 3rd party to provide those services.

What if I wanted to do touch ups or 2 looks on my wedding day?
absolutely! Mention that when you fill out my contact form and I will add that into your custom quote.
 
 how does creating a day-of wedding timeline work?
I will work closely with your planner and make up artist to create a schedule for you. a good rule of thumb is Updos go first. Half up hair styles are second. All down with curls is last. The thought process behind this is that each style will last the longest this way. 
 
 I'm ready to book! How do I go about confirming my wedding day with you? 
Please fill out the Contact form and add as many details as you can. Also, I love when Brides send me inspiration photos of the hair style they want and the vibe of their wedding. Plus I love seeing wedding dress photos :) Based on your wedding destination and details, I will prepare a custom quote for you. A non-refundable deposit is due at the time of signing the contract. 
Voila, the date is yours! 
 
  do I pay you before or on my wedding day?
payment in full is due one week before your wedding day. Your wedding day goes by so fast, you don’t want to hassle with paying your vendors. if everyone in the bridal party is paying for themselves please handle that internally and provide just one payment. Balance can be paid by Venmo or cash. I do accept credit card payments,  additional fees apply.
